WELCOME TO THE SHAEGEEKSOUT BLOG!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  This is a new project for me, and I hope it will be fruitful not only for me, but for my audience as well.

I think I should take a minute to introduce myself!  My name is Shae, and I am a mid-thirites woman who lives in Utah, USA.  I read books, graphic novels, and manga. I adore reading, and it is such a fun hobby for me. 

I used to blog my entire life out to the world, but don't do that anymore. (These have all been deleted, or made private, so you can't find them anymore.) I wanted to get back into blogging mostly for myself, but I wanted somewhere to share my thoughts on the things that I read. 

If you would like me to talk about anything specifically, or even read something that you have enjoyed, feel free to leave me comments.  I will try to keep a balance of books, manga, and graphic novels as I read them. Fair warning, I am currently on a manga binge!

I PUT A VOLUME OF MANGA IN THE CORNER....

  *THIS POST WILL BE TALKING ABOUT SPOILERS FOR THE MANGA SERIES, DAYTIME SHOOTING STAR.  IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SPOILED, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.     As you can see by this photo taken in the moment, I did literally put this volume of manga in a corner. This volume was mostly amazing, but the last chapter of this volume made me put it in here, and I want to talk about why.      We start off this volume with some exciting things.  We have Suzume showing up on the doorstep of Mamura, to finally give him her answer I was literally screaming once we got to the end of her monologue.     MY SHIP IS FINALLY STARTING TO OFFICIALLY SAIL!!! Mamura and Suzume finally begin their actual relationship, rather than their fake dating relationship.  With this, the two being the awkward behaviors of new relationships. Figuring out how to be around each other without constantly blushing. Though believe me, there is PLENTY of blushing in this volume....

HELLO 2020!!!

Hi Friends!  It has been a little while since I posted here on this blog.  I am sorry for my unintentional absence.  I am currently working on the look of this blog, as I still feel this is a work in progress.  In general with this blog, what I am hoping to do at a bare minimum is to check in on Sundays with a look at what I have read during the week. Of course I am hoping to have more content outside of that, but that is the minimum that I want to set for myself for now until I can better get into the swing of things.  The other thing I am hoping to better find with this blog is my writing voice.  I have felt for a while now, that as I write, it feels like anyone on this earth could have written it.  There isn't enough of myself in this at the moment, and I desperately want to see that change in the next little while.  If you are interested in some specific goals, feel free to click  here  to see a tour of my reading journal, a...
